As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before Him?
Good Morning my Wonderful King,
You delight me at every turn of the day. You bless me with so many sights, at times it’s hard to take them all in and thank You for those moments. Please forgive me when I don’t see You in my day. Help me to slow down and know You are here with me and it’s You who provided these moments for You and I to share. I love You!
This morning You blessed me with being able to watch my new quail family in the backyard. You know I love watching Your nature, I’ve watched for the babies to be with the parents, and this morning You gave me a glimpse of Your heart through them.
The babies stay close to their parents, watching where they go, learning how to search for food, expecting protection from them. The babies moved a bit away from the dad, but when he bent down to peck at the ground, they all moved quickly to his spot and began eating.
I realized that’s they way You want to be with me. You want me to be close to You, watching Your every move, learning Your truths. You want me to step out in faith, even when I don’t ‘feel‘ You close and teach what You have taught me. But most of all, when You bend down to show me Your way, You want me right there to learn.
I want so much Father, to please You. I do want to learn and grow in Your Word and love. My love for You is like the deer who longs for the water. I adore You as my all in all! I praise You so much for this morning’s lesson. I will always remember it when I see the quail and I will run You!
