November 3

The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Psalm 28:7

I am thankful today for the friends Jesus has surrounded me with. I know I’m not the easiest of people to get along with, but in His wisdom, Jesus know not only what I need, but who I need. He has provided me with so many and each with a gift to give. They help me stay on the right path, encouraging me even when I don’t realize that I need encouragement. We’ve laughed and cried together and most of all, prayed together for Your guidance. Oh, that I could be a friend like these.

Good morning Jesus!
What a wonderful way to begin the day. Remembering the friendships You have given me throughout my lifetime. From a little girl with neighbors to high school and all the fun activities, I’ve been surrounded by people who cared for me. In this later part of my life I have been so blessed with the friends You have chosen for me to walk on new paths, not necessarily the ones I might have chosen. We’ve been able to share our joys and laughter, also our failures and brokenness. I ask this morning that You will bless all these special people. Give them the joy only You can. But You, my Jesus, are the best friend I could ever have. You are the joy of my heart!
Amen
