Honor and majesty surround Him; strength and beauty fill His sanctuary. Psalm 96:6

Today I will thank my LORD for the beauty of His earth. I’ve lived at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. I’ve stood on their peaks reaching high into the sky and seen nothing but more peaks. I’ve looked out upon the desert floor and seen the grandeur stretching as far as the eye can see. I’ve looked at the Atlantic ocean in it’s gray and churning waves and seen such power!

Yet, I can look out my back patio and see the wonder of His creation in my lizards, humming birds and quail. I am so grateful for all I’ve seen in person and what I can see in my mind. He is the great I AM!

Good morning Jesus!
Thank You for Your earth. It is so amazing and hidden glory in every corner we can look. Yet, it’s not the earth You created. We ruined that beauty with our sin. It is dull compared with what You started with. I also realize that we haven’t taken very good care of what we have and for that I ask for forgiveness. Surround me today, Spirit, that I may see the earth through Your eyes. Help me to appreciate all I see!
I love You so very much!
Amen
