I am so thankful for those who have lived before me, my ancestors. I come from a very long line of believers in Christ. They have shown their faith from generation to generation. I’m sure they have not only blessed me, but blessed others that they came in contact with. You can’t be a believer in Christ and not be a blessing for those around you. They have prayed for me even though they didn’t know me. Which reminds me, I need to be praying for future generations, that they will also know the joy of being with Christ!

Good morning my dear Jesus,
Once again I am reminded just how You work through generations. You never leave us, forsake us or give up on us. I thank You for my ancestors. I wonder if they ever thought their faith would be the result of my faith.
You’ve also reminded me that being Your child gives me some responsibility. I need to be more faithful in praying for those who will be coming after me. I want to show the world just how Your love has changed me, and that they can have the same relationship with You as I do. You are so very good to all Your children! Love You, LORD!
