November 7

Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures.Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God. Proverbs 2:3-5

I love reading my Bible. I try to be in it every day but I do miss some days. There will be verses in there that I’m sure were just slipped in when I needed them. I don’t recall ever having read them before. But, the Spirit always knows when I’m ready to understand more or need encouragement. He is opening my eyes and heart to those specific verses.

I am so blessed and thankful that I can have my own Bible, and truth be told, many different versions. I don’t want to take that blessing for granted!

Morning Jesus!

Again another beautiful morning in the desert. It’s cool mornings that warm up nicely. The sky is the usual rich blue, the breeze reminds me You are close and the birds are singing their praises to the world!

I do enjoy my Bible, having the opportunity to be able to read it in private or public. To share what I’ve learned with friends. You give me so many words of encouragement and correction. I want to search and seek the treasures You have given me. There is every thing I need in Your Word to get to know You better. And, I want so badly to deeply know You, my heart craves to be like You. You are the joy and love of my life!
