The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in His Temple. Psalm 27:4

My life. It’s shaped and molded me into the person I am today. But, have I considered my life a gift?

I saw a quote on the internet the other day that went something like, gratitude is my ability to experience life as a gift.

I have to say I’ve enjoyed my life, the joys and heartbreaks together. I would love to have many more years to experience this.

That means I want to start looking at my life as a gratitude and a gift from my Savior.

Morning Jesus!
Why is it I sometimes overlook the greatest gifts from You? You molded me, knitted me together in my mother’s womb. You knew my name before my parents did. My life is a great gift from You and I want to thank You!

You know I’ve slide away from You time to time. But I also know, You have always guided me back into Your arms.

Help me to appreciate this life as Your gift to me. I guess my gift to You would be what I’ve become. Help me LORD to put a smile on Your face every day!
I love You!
Amen
