I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength to do His work. He considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve Him, 1 Timothy 1:12

I am very thankful for Jesus’ gift of mercy. It’s a gift that I can easily take for granted, yet, it’s there every morning. Actually, every moment!
What I feel so humbled by this morning’s scripture is that Jesus considered me. He had to look into my heart and think about me for a bit. That’s the King of the Universe! And then, He found me trustworthy and has given me a job to do for Him!
Sometimes I have a hard time seeing what that job is, but other times, it’s right there in front of me.
Oh, how grateful I am for my LORD and Savior.

Morning Jesus!
You always know just how to encourage me. Keep me going on the path that You have chosen for me. Giving me highlights and wisdom to get the job done!
Yet, You have given each of us a job to glorify You. For some it’s baking cookies, being a taxi to someone who can’t drive, praying for others. We all don’t have to have the ‘big and out front’ jobs.
I want to encourage others to realize that You have looked into their hearts, and considered them trustworthy. Help us all to do what You have assigned for us to do, so we can glorify You!
