I’m reminded this morning that I do have a voice. Although I’m very comfortable to be in the background, there are times I should speak up. I need to let the people around me know just how much I appreciate them, as it’s said, silent gratitude doesn’t really do anyone much good.
Maybe I will make a list of those I want to tell, how they have helped and supported me through the years.

Morning Jesus!
It’s another wonderful day in the desert. Partly cloudy skies and the promise of cooler weather is a delight to look forward to after this summer.
I am so grateful for so many people in my life. However, I’ve been silent in letting them know. I’m not sure why, but I want to change that starting today.
Help me to find the words and then the courage to speak them. If I can’t do it face to face, then through a card, email, or however I can say. I don’t want the silent gratitude that doesn’t help anyone!
