Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions. Psalm 119:18

I am grateful and blessed to have my sight. I take way to much for granted. Sometimes I’m reminded what it might be like if I lost my sight. No more reading books that take me to faraway places or back in time. No more sewing or quilting. No more seeing the sunsets that God has designed.
Today I will focus on the blessings of my eyes. I want to appreciate them and realize they are a gift from God!

Morning Father,
I tell You often how wonderful to see the blue sky or comment on the wonderful sunset or sunrise. Yet, I don’t often the mention of how I see them. I have taken my eye sight for granted for far too long.
Help me to realize just what a gift they are from You.
Many in this word are not as blessed. I would ask that You will surround them in wonderful ways. Let the hear the spoken beauty through someone else’s description. Let them feel Your presence right next to them.
Open the eyes of my heart also, LORD, that I would see what You see. Then I can act according to Your will!
I love You my LORD!
