You sent abundant rain, O God, to refresh the weary land.  Psalm 68:9

I grew up in a semi arid high plains desert. I now live in a real desert. So when it rains it’s a special occasion.

We couldn’t play in the rain in Colorado as it was too cold of water. But, the rain in Tucson is so much warmer it’s easy to run outside and play in the rain. To be washed with the drops and make some mud!

Rain is a blessing I need to acknowledge much more often.

Morning Jesus!
Thank You so very much for the rain we received the other night! It’s always so refreshing to see the desert after the rain, all the dust has been rinsed off the plants, the sky seems clearer, it’s just beautiful.

I haven’t always seen it as a blessing and for that I ask Your forgiveness. After all, You are the Living Water!

When You wash me with the Living Water, I’m refreshed, renewed and ready to take the next step. And, Your Water never ceases to exist.
You are my God and I adore You!
Amen
