We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His Holy Name. Let Your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in You alone. Psalm 33:18-20

Hope is one of my wonderful blessings. It’s not like the hope that we understood as children. We hope we will get that new toy for Christmas, but not really sure.
Our hope in Christ is certain. It is a divinely guaranteed promise waiting to be fulfilled. Of that, we can count on!

Morning Jesus,
I am so glad You are my Hope and Shield in this life. You give me joy when I feel down. You give me wisdom when I’m confused. You give me Your love so freely. I truly am blessed to be with You.
What You have proclaimed thousands of years ago, I know You will fulfill, in Your time. I also know I’m not a good waiter. Help me to trust in You, that You alone will fulfill the final promise, You will once again live with us on this earth and it will be as You originally designed.
I love You, Jesus. You are my very heart!
