Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you. Let Me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Todays blessing is kind of strange, but it’s right where I’m at today. I am blessed because of Jesus’ compassion and yoke He has for me.
Yesterday I was so tired from the celebrating of Thanksgiving I could hardly make it the bed. And I did very little in the preparation of the food. The company was great, the food great, but when I got home I could hardly think. The first scripture I saw was this one and I realized what a blessing Jesus’ yoke is and how He takes care of me! His yoke lifts me up above my life and helps me to see better!

Morning my dear Jesus!
I am so grateful for You and being right here with me now. I was so tired last night I just wanted to go to bed at 6pm. But, You encouraged me to think on a blessing and I realized it was You! Your strength kept me going. Your compassion for me was so tender. How can I do anything but love You for just being You!
Help me to rest today. Let me lean into Your teachings. I pray this all makes sense but will lean into Your Spirit to speak better words.
You are all I need!
