The Lord says, “I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for Me. I said, ‘Here I AM, here I AM!’ to a nation that did not call on My Name. Isaiah 65:1
Are you ready? Do you hear Him? This tiny baby whose birth we celebrate is waiting for you to call on Him. Oh, how our Lord’s heart breaks because you haven’t called on Jesus today. His focus is on you, His love has been given for you, and His ears are tuned to your call. Look for Jesus this season, seek His presence above all else, and you will find Him. When you see Him, share God’s word with those who are in need, share your meal with someone who is hungry, and share His love with a world that is hurting. I can tell you this: you will bring a smile to His face and joy to His heart. God doesn’t even keep that to Himself, for you will reflect His smile and joy. Joy to the World!
Father, thank You so much for giving me Your heart, for calling to me until I listen, and loving me as Your child. Thank You for being my life! Amen.
Ninth-Day Activities
Smile! How many times a day do you smile? Do you realize you use more muscles to smile than to frown? What if you counted how many times you smile today? What if you focus on smiling? How would you feel if Jesus smiled at you today? You would be pleased and excited. Honored beyond belief. You have the opportunity today to smile for Jesus! You have the honor to reflect His presence. Are you ready? Go!
