May the King’s name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun shines. May all nations be blessed through Him and bring Him praise.
Good morning Jesus!
Thank You for the gift of this morning. Even if I’m slow in getting up and facing the day, I know I have You beside me and that is all I need.
Well, Christmas day is done. Soon we’ll start to put the ornaments away, the nativity seen will be packed away and we will return to our normal days.
That’s not what I want this year. I don’t want to pack up the manger scene away and forget about Your birth. I want the lights of the season to continue on to remind me that You are the light of this world. I want the Christmas season to last all year. Help me, Jesus. I’m not sure how to navigate this.
You just reminded me that advent means to prepare for Your birth, Your coming. I want to live advent throughout the year. Preparing each morning for Your presence in my life. When I have You all else will fall into place.
Thank You my LORD. Help me as I live each day for You!
