Judges 2:10

After that generation died, another generation grew up who did not acknowledge the LORD or remember the mighty things He had done for Israel.

Good morning Jesus!
Your creation sings their praises and so do I. You are magnificent and my words cannot express how much I love You!

While reading in Judges this morning, Jesus, this verse caught my eye and my mind won’t let go. I know this was just after Joshua died. I know this was for an early Israel. I also know You’re talking about us today.

How easily we can forget what You have done for us. How easy it is to fall into the ways of the world.

I feel like many people in my country don’t know about You. It all seems like we’re to busy living our lives for worldly goals. We, You children, seem to have failed to speak of You to the next generation. Our culture says don’t offend anyone, don’t speak out of turn.

But You were never concerned for social niceties when You walked this earth, Jesus. You spoke out whether or not if offended anyone. It only had to be the truth.

Let me learn from this scripture today. It’s so important that I talk about You to my family and friends and anyone that will listen. I need to be bold, but with compassion. I need You, Spirit, to do the talking.
I love You so very much!
Amen
