My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to every prayer made in this place. For I have chosen this Temple and set it apart to be holy—a place where My Name will be honored forever. I will always watch over it, for it is dear to My heart.
Good morning my LORD!
What a beautiful day You have created. I want to be one of many to praise You for this day. To know that You will surround me gives me great joy and hope!
I know in this verse, Father, You were talking about the Temple in Jerusalem. I also know You were talking about Your future Temples, which would be Your children. You have created each one of us to be a Temple to honor Your Name.
You have set us apart, to be a holy place. What an honor, Father! Yet, there is more to it than just to be a place. You want us to honor Your Name in our lives.
Oh, how I wish to do this, but my flesh often gets in the way. I forget from time to time that I am Your temple. Please forgive me, Father. Strengthen me to resist the world. Help me to be a better child for You!
What warms my heart though, is when You say You will watch over me, for I am dear to Your heart! Just think! I’m dear to my Father’s heart! The Creator and Salvation of the Universe!
