I rejoice in Your word like one who discovers a great treasure.
Good Morning Jesus,
I love You, what more can I say? You are the light of my life and I love being with You. You have helped me to develop this time of day, just to be our time, and I so look forward to it.
I praise You this morning Jesus, for Your Word. As I read, this scripture stopped my eyes and heart. I have to agree with the psalmist, I do rejoice in Your Word. I’m always amazed at what was written so long ago, is still important today. Your Word, as Yourself, is timeless.
But, do I read and search as one who will discover great treasures? I’m not sure I always do. I should look for something special every time I open my Bible. I should expect You to speak through Your Word. Please help me to change my thoughts. Help me please, to look for a treasure each morning. Give me the courage to expect Your answer every day.
I will continue to rejoice as You speak to me, and I’ll look for the treasure of Your love!
