Then Elisha died and was buried. Groups of Moabite raiders used to invade the land each spring. Once when some Israelites were burying a man, they spied a band of these raiders. So they hastily threw the corpse into the tomb of Elisha and fled. But as soon as the body touched Elisha’s bones, the dead man revived and jumped to his feet!
Good morning my King!
What a beautiful morning it is. You created it and I will take joy in being in Your presence.
I just love this scripture, Jesus! Your power is greater than I realize. You are the Life Giver and as in these verses when the dead man touched Elisha’s bones, he jumps back to life! Elisha was touched by You and in turn Elisha touched this man.
The story tells me that I should be touching people with Your love so they will want You in their lives. And all it takes is a touch.
We live in a world that touching is not easily received. I need to respect their ‘space’ but somehow show them Your love.
Help me Spirit to know when to touch and how. You are the one who knows their hearts so I will trust in You!
Love You, LORD!
Amen
