When I discovered Your words, I devoured them. They are my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear Your Name, O LORD God of Heaven’s Armies.
Morning Jesus!
What a delight it is to wake with my first thoughts on You. When I do, You bring me peace and excitement for the day to come. I want to rush to my Bible to see what gems You will give me today.
Today scripture caught my eye and wouldn’t let them move on until I thought on it!
When I discover Your Words, I do want to devour them. And to devour I have to taste them with my mouth, swallow them and let them enter my body. The verse, taste and see if the LORD is good, comes to mind.
I just can’t get by with reading Your Word, I need to devour, taste and let my body ingest them. Then I need to let them shine in my life to glorify You!
Your Word is my joy and heart’s delight and I love You so very much!
