But I called on Your Name, LORD, from deep within the pit. You heard me when I cried, “Listen to my pleading! Hear my cry for help!” Yes, You came when I called; You told me, “Do not fear.”
Good morning my LORD,
I am so grateful that You have shown me Your love and salvation. I praise You for just being all that You are!
How many times LORD, have I been in a pit. Sometimes by my own making, sometimes from things just happening. All I can think about is getting out.
Then again, how many times do I forget to call on You? I try to ‘fix’ things on my own and most times just make it worse. Please forgive me.
Your Word this morning was just what I needed to hear! You will answer me if I pray to You. It make take longer than I would like, but there is where my faith needs to be strong. You will answer in Your perfect time.
What really caught my eye is, You tell me, “Do not fear.” I need to focus on those 3 words when I’m in a pit. Fear is not of You, it is a distraction from the enemy.
Help me to remember this, my Love. You have the best in mind for me even if I don’t think my situation is great. All I have to remember is do not fear.
You are my life, LORD. I love You so much and want to bring a smile to Your face today and all the days to come!
Amen
