Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
Good Morning Jesus!
I am so blessed to have You as my Savior and Companion. You give me constant assurance for the day ahead and encourage me to approach whatever comes my way, with peace and joy.
As You know, I’ve had a hard time coming to terms with the word ‘hope’. For me it always felt like I wasn’t sure it would happen, I always hope it will, but to be sure?
Then I heard it put this way, hope cords us; it tethers us to the Living God and to each other in this world! That makes so much sense to me and I can hang onto that kind of hope! Thanks You for opening my eyes to this way of thinking.
When challenges of the day approach, I want to have faith in You and to remember You know what is best. When I get discouraged, I will place my confidence in Your hands and know it will all be good. I love how You always give me assurance and hope to continue in You!
Most of all LORD, I want to shine Your glory and love to all I meet today!
