As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in Your commands. Your laws are always right; help me to understand them so I may live.
Good Morning Jesus!
I thank You for giving me a reason to get up this morning. I thank You for giving me this life to live for You. Even when I’m tired and worn out, I know that I will move and live and exist in Your presence today!
Jesus, things are so strange this year. People are isolated from their loved ones, celebrations won’t be like they usually are, it’s like nothing we’ve ever experienced. I’m not sure how I feel about it all. Kind a like I’m missing out on the joy of the season.
I thank You so much, Jesus, for Your Word this morning. It reminds me I can find joy in Your scriptures. And this is true joy, the kind that doesn’t go away despite my circumstances. Please guide me to a verse I can memorize and meditate on today. Help me to focus on You through the day.
I want to be a light for You this day. Even if it’s just sharing a card with someone or dropping an email to them. Use me to remind others they are not alone. We all have You and each other!
Thank You for being my LORD and Savior!
