Romans 1:2-4

God promised this Good News long ago through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures. The Good News is about His Son. In His earthly life He was born into King David’s family line, and He was shown to be the Son of God when He was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.

Good Morning Jesus,
Thank You for the sunrise this morning. Even thought the sky was clear, it was wonderfully soft and peaceful. It’s a promise to me that You will be here today and I can have this privilege to be with You!

Your Word this morning makes my heart sing. It also makes me thankful to be living on this side of the cross. Before You came to earth, people knew You would come someday. They waited their whole lives for You. They looked to the future to see Your glory.

How blessed I am to have You here with me right now. I know the Good News and it’s You! All the prophecies about You came true, being born into the linage of David, being crucified and raised from the dead by the power of the Spirit, everything that was said about You is true.

Now we look to the future again, to see when You will come in all Your glory. Yet, Jesus, I want to remember that You are already here, living in me, proclaiming You are God. I guess I need to remember that the future is now.

So today, remind me often please, that You want people to know they can have Your presence in their lives. You desire to be with everyone. Please give me the words and actions to show the people I come in contact with Your love, so they will want to come into Your presence.

And, help me to remember that what was said about You in the past was true, just as what is said for the future, it too, will also be true.

Love You Jesus!
Amen
