I am writing to God’s church in Corinth, to you who have been called by God to be His own holy people. He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as He did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.
Morning Jesus,
Thank You for the night’s rest. I’m always amazed when I don’t sleep well, I still have enough energy to get through the day. You provide for all my needs, even the hours of sleep You know I will need.
I am so thankful for Your Word this morning. It reminds me that I can do nothing without You. I so often hear, ‘I’ve found God’, but that’s not at all the truth, is it? You found me, called me and made me holy by revealing to me Your Jesus. All I really need is to respond.
So often I hear You calling, but my heart hurts to confess that I don’t always respond, please forgive me. Help me, Spirit, to lay down my will and listen. Remind me please, to remember that Your will is always better than mine. I wish that my actions and words would proclaim that I have been called by You. I want so much to live my life for You! I love You, Jesus!
