Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to You and wait expectantly.
Good Morning My Love,
Oh my goodness, Father, You are the best of my life. You are God and You are right here with me now. I know such joy when I sit with You in the mornings and such courage to walk through my day. I praise You for calling me to be Your child.
The first thing in the morning my thoughts turn to You. Even before I get out of bed You are greeting me with the promise of a new day. You have created this day and I want to take joy in it.
Jesus, I thank You for listening to my requests and burdens that I bring to You each morning. I thank You for sharing Your joy with me throughout the day. But, I have to confess, LORD, I don’t always expect You to respond. Please forgive me, if I talk to You without expectations, they are just empty words. There is no faith and I don’t want to live that way another day. Help me, Jesus, to anticipate the expectancy of Your answers. I want to hear Your voice clearly. I want to go about the day, looking around every corner, to see what You are preparing for me. You are my everlasting Love!
