Job 9:32-33 & 35

“God is not a mortal like me, so I cannot argue with Him or take Him to trial. If only there were a mediator between us, someone who could bring us together. Then I could speak to Him without fear, but I cannot do that in my own strength.

Good Morning My King!
Oh my goodness! Your Word is such a delight to my heart. Your story is so complete and in every book it is telling me about Your love and sacrifice, just so I can sit here with You this morning and be in Your presence. You are the most wonderful love of my heart.

As I read in Your book of Job, I was struck at how so many years before Your Son came, Job spoke the words that all mankind needed. He realized that You are not mortal, You are God. He knew he could not approach Your throne without a mediator. He dreamed of having someone that could come between him and Yourself. Most of all he knew he could not do this alone.

In Your great wisdom and timing You sent Your Jesus, to be that Mediator. He is the One that can bring us together. Yet, You even took it one step further, You gave me Your Spirit, because You knew I cannot do this on my own strength.

My finite mind cannot understand the three in one concept we try to define You by. But I do know I need all three of Your gifts just to make it through a day.

So I ask today that You, Spirit, will remind me often of the sacrifice and love that You, Jesus, pour out for mankind. Spirit, please speak the words that I cannot form, to praise You, Father, for the amazing wonder of Your love. I ask that I will be snuggled together with You Three, so the world may know that You are God!
Amen
