Matthew 21:15-16

The leading priests and the teachers of religious law saw these wonderful miracles and heard even the children in the Temple shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David.” But the leaders were indignant. They asked Jesus, “Do you hear what these children are saying?” “Yes,” Jesus replied. “Haven’t you ever read the Scriptures? For they say, ‘You have taught children and infants to give you praise.’”

Good Morning Jesus!
As the sun rises in the sky, so my voice will rise in giving You glory and praising Your name! You are my God, You are my love and I delight in being in Your presence.

I praise You this morning for Your Word. You remind me to always give thanks and praise.

I thank You for teaching me to praise You. You also want my praise to be like that of a child, innocent and unrehearsed. Please help me to learn from them, the joy of raising Your name on high.

You have created me to know You. There is a vacuum in my heart that longs for You, even if I don’t realize it. Please fill this void in my heart today. Surround me with Your presence and glory. Hold me close as I continue to learn from You throughout my life.

Jesus, please give all Your children, young and old, the courage and strength to shout ‘Praise God for the Son of David!’
Amen
