Good Morning Father,
I am so grateful to be getting to know You. I am also amazed that You, the Creator of all things, would find me worthy enough to spend time with. I am so humbled and honored that You chose me to be Your child.
Yet, I know, Father, that I am only worthy because Your Son, Jesus, died for my sins. It is through His sacrifice that I have been cleansed so I can stand in Your presence. I praise You for all this.
I’m reminded this morning in Your Word that You are raising me to be the person You know I can be. You have nothing but the best for me. I know there are so many times through a day I rebel against Your plans. I think I know what’s best for my life and don’t even ask for Your guidance. Please forgive me Father.
I want to know You better every morning. I want to understand Your ways better. I want to know Your voice and respond when You call.
Over all this Father, I need Your courage and strength.
I thank You for never giving up on me, continually calling me to a new level of worship with You and for being my hope.
I love You LORD!
