But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, cleanses us from all sin
Morning Jesus,
Thank You so much for the sunshine this morning. We’ve been cloudy and smoky from the wildfires lately, and I thank You for the rain You have given Your creation. Yet, I am so attached to Your sun, that when I don’t see it in the mornings, I have a hard time waking up.
I often think of my spiritual life that way also. When I don’t wake up with Your Son, I don’t see and have a hard time navigating through my day.
For it is You who shines light into my life. I have the opportunity to live continually with You. How blessed I am.
You have also given me an amazing circle of friends, to fellowship and enjoy life together. I thank You for each one and I ask that You will bless them this morning. Please whisper to them of Your love and give them a hug.
Most of all, Jesus, I thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross. You gave Your life for me, so I can be here with You right now. Without Your blood, there would be no communion. I would be lost without You. Thank You so much for being my LORD and Savior, the lover of my life.
