We will use these stones to build a memorial. In the future your children will ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’
Morning Father,
The sky this morning is that beautiful blue and there isn’t a cloud in it. The green of the leaves is such a fresh color. Once again You have blessed me with this day that You have created. Help me please to take joy in it, to open my eyes to Your glory, and raise Your name on high.
I know You’re building memorials with the children that will be attending Vacation Bible School across our country, LORD. I know there are many churches still waiting to start their programs and many like my church that have already completed their’s. You use the building blocks of our lives to build a memorial to Your greatness.
So as they come to You this summer, please be with all the leaders, teachers and helpers. Help them as they tell Your story. Give them Your words and actions. Help them to plant the seed in each of these children so when they grow up and when someone asks, ‘what do these stones mean?’, they will be able to tell the story!
