During the night God spoke to him in a vision. “Jacob! Jacob!” He called.
“Here I am,” Jacob replied.
Good Morning Father,
How are You this morning? As always, it’s a delight to spend some time with You. I long for more time to just sit in Your presence and think on Your Word. To tell You what is on my heart, but also to listen to what’s on Yours. You speak so clearly through Your Word, help me this morning to understand better and see what gem You have for me.
I hear You calling me to Your side, Father. I am so delighted You find me worthy to proclaim Your love to those around me who are so desperate to hear You. But to give Your love, I need to receive Your love. Remind me often today that You do love me, You sent Your Son to cleanse me. You sent Your Spirit to guide me. What more could You do to say ‘I love you?’
I know I sometimes build walls to hold out Your love and I always wonder why. Help me to break down the walls that may keep You out. Open my heart to receive You completely. I stand in awe at the power of Your love. Thank You for calling me Your child!
