And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
Good Morning My LORD,
How wonderful You are to wake me every morning with a gentle thought. You are often the first thing I think of when I wake and what a joy it is. It’s so great to realize You are with me even before I look decent!
This year is so different from other Christmases, Jesus. With the virus and so much unknown, it can be hard to remember that You are with me. It can be hard to get into the Spirit of Christmas.
Yet, these are the very circumstances that You delight in giving Your peace! You want me to look beyond all that’s happening, raise me above what’s going on and take joy in Your presence. For that I will give You praises for all You have done!
As I sit here this morning, I look forward to having You wash me in Your peace and presence. Help me to change my thoughts to Your thoughts and give me hope for this day.
Jesus, I am so thankful for You, for my family, friends and those I will meet today. Keep me here until I am full of Your peace so I can share it with them. Please rule my heart with Your wisdom and love.
