Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
Good Morning Jesus!
I am so grateful for Your example You showed me when You walked this earth. You taught me how to glorify God and follow in Your footsteps.
You want me to be joyful. That’s a sign that You are living with me.
You want me to always be in prayer. That’s a sign that I’m dependent on You.
You want me to be thankful, regardless of my circumstances, because it’s not the circumstances that matter, it’s how You are working in me.
So when I want to be grumpy, remind me I have much to be joyful for, for You are with me. When I don’t want to talk to You, help me remember that I can’t do my life on my own. In every area of my life, please give me Your strength so I can be thankful, no matter what is happening around me.
I want to please You, Jesus. I want to shine Your glory so others can know the joy I have in You. I love You so very much.
