But the Israelites would not listen. They were as stubborn as their ancestors who had refused to believe in the Lord their God.
Good Morning Jesus,
How blessed I am to have You wake me this morning. Even though I was slow in responding, You were patient until I got up. Thank You for Your faithfulness.
I know, Jesus, there are times I just don’t listen to what You want. It’s not that I don’t hear You, I just don’t want to obey. Please, forgive me. I am just like Your chosen people. I hear what I want and ignore the rest. That’s not the way You want me to live.
Jesus, I ask this morning that You would work in my life and fine tune my hearing, so I can hear clearly what You are asking. I need Your strength to respond to Your calling. I don’t want to be stubborn any more.
I want to have a teachable heart and spirit. I so enjoy sitting at Your feet and learning Your truths. I love being in Your presence. I love You, Jesus!
