Job 37:21-22

We cannot look at the sun, for it shines brightly in the sky when the wind clears away the clouds. So also, golden splendor comes from the mountain of God. He is clothed in dazzling splendor.

Good Morning Yahweh,
How wonderful to sit in Your presence this morning. Your desire to be with me here always amazes me. Who am I? I often think of myself as nothing, but then You remind me that I am Your child, You created me, and have honored me as we sit together so I can learn from You!

I love all the little surprises You give to me, Father. Your Word is filled with them and it’s a delight to come across them.

Like this one this morning. I can see the sun in the sky, it’s brightness hurts my eyes and I can’t look at it directly. It shines into every corner, lighting the way and warming the earth. Yet, Your splendor is even greater. The sun will fade into nothing when Your glory is revealed. Your beauty is never ending, just as Your love and faithfulness live on forever. How I love You, Abba. Please help me to shine Your glory to this dark world today. Spirit, please show me how to proclaim Your beauty and love.
Amen
