Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.
Good Morning Jesus,
Have I told You lately just how much I enjoy watching Your nature? The delightful play of the animals and the beauty of Your flowers bring a smile to my face. Thank You.
Jesus, please help me to remember that I’m not any more special than the homeless person on the street. There are times I get this little bubble of delight and think how special I am to be called Your child. You love and cherish me, but not any more than the people I will see today. Please forgive me for such an arrogant attitude.
Each person in this world is just as special to You as I am. It is a wonderful privilege to be claimed as Your child, but it’s all those who don’t know You, that I should be more concerned with than myself. It’s my responsibility to introduce You to them, so they also can be called Your children.
Thank You, Jesus, for reminding me of my place this morning. I humble myself before You and ask for Your guidance for this day. Help me please, to look at the lost and see them through Your eyes. Please give me Your heart to minister to them.
I love You so very much Jesus!
Amen
