May You watch over this Temple day and night, this place where You have said You would put Your name. May You always hear the prayers I make toward this place.
Good Morning Father,
Thank You for this morning, that I can sit and watch the birds play outside my widow. Thank You for showing me the wonder of Your nature. Thank You for revealing Yourself to me.
Father, once again I know Your Word this morning is talking about the Temple in Jerusalem. Yet, I also know that You now claim to live in Your people’s hearts since Jesus came. And, wherever You live, there is Your Kingdom and Temple.
So I ask that You will watch over me this day. That I will honor this place where Your name lives and I will be worthy of Your presence.
I also know, Father, that I can’t do this just by trying hard. You have taught me that I’m not supposed to do it on my own. You have given me the gift of Your Spirit to help guide, strengthen and teach me. At every turn today Father, I want to seek Your Spirit. I want to bring a smile to Your face and glory to Your Name!
Amen
