But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.
Morning My Precious Jesus,
It’s wonderful to sit with You for awhile this morning. I know I have chores to get done, and family to take care of, but thank You for these moments we can share.
You show me, LORD, so much about Yourself and the importance of prayer and time alone with You. I have to confess, I don’t always get here with You in the morning due to life. I know my heart is not good through the day when I miss my time with You. Strengthen me, Jesus, to take my time time with You seriously, and help me to commit to whatever time I can.
I want to see what Your have to say to me today in Your Word. Teach me to search for the gem You want to share. Help me to express what I have learned to my family and friends.
Thank You for loving me, Jesus. Thank You for the honor to talk and learn from You. Help me to be faithful each day, to sit in Your presence and tell You, I love You!
