Psalm 19:1-2

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.

Good Morning My Precious LORD,
It’s a wonderful morning again. Thank you for waking me and showing me the glories of Your day. As I watered my plants, You blessed me with the beauty and fragrance of my rose bush. You showed me the vibrant yellow/orange of my zinnias. Thank You for the color of Your creation. It’s only You that can make them grow and bloom and I get to have the pleasure of watching.

It’s not only my backyard LORD, that You show Your power, it’s in the heavens and universe. When I look up at the sky at night and see those stars shining, I’m reminded of Your great power. The sun shines on me during the day, giving me light for my path and warmth for my heart. The moon shines at night, only a reflection of the sun and it gives me a peace of heart and rest for the night. Even there, Your glory is proclaimed.

As Your creation physically shows me Your plan, so Your Word shows me Your grace. Jesus, You shine on my life, lighting my way, warming my heart to love and giving me a reason to live. You have placed me in this dark world and I am to shine Your love, even if I’m just a reflection of You. Help me please Jesus, to soak You up right now, so Your glory will be in my life, lighting the way for others to come to You.
As the heavens proclaim Your glory, so I want to do the same. I love You!
Amen
