Ephesians 6:13-17

Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Morning Jesus,
I thank You so much for the cooler mornings now. There is a hint of fall in the air. You know me so well and give me the hope of a new season, not only seasons of the year, but seasons of my life.

There are days, LORD, that I feel I’m in limbo and oh so useless.  Guard my thoughts, Father, as I know those are not from You. You have counted me worthy to serve You and be Your child.

I want today to think on the armor You have provided for me, Your Word, the Truth, Your protection and Salvation. I want to meditate on Your wisdom and follow in Your footsteps, ready to fight the battles before me, knowing You are with me. I want to be ready to love with Your love and passion.
I do love You, my Jesus.
Amen
