Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and make me willing to obey You.
Good Morning Jesus!
Thank You for the rest last night. Thank You for waking me to Your presence this morning. Life is so much more exciting when I come to You and acknowledge You as my LORD. I thank You for giving me the wisdom to know You and Your wondrous ways.
There are days, Jesus, that I forget that You are my salvation. I forget what You did and went through so I can spend this time with You. Wash me with Your Spirit now and restore the excitement and joy I had when we first met. I was so willing to let You show me so much and sit at Your feet to learn Your ways.
Jesus, it is my heart’s desire to walk closely with You. To sit and listen to Your voice, I long for that today. When You ask me to do something, I want to stop and obey. I want to know the pleasure of being in Your Spirit!
