Good Morning My LORD,
It’s still dark outside and cold. I can see the hope of the day as the darkness lightens. I can start to see shapes in my backyard. Even in the pre dawn light You are glorious. You have given me the rest I need and now You wake me with Your creation. My words cannot begin to describe how I feel about You. You are my hearts desire and oh, how You have blessed me.
I am grateful Jesus, that I am on this side of the cross. I know Your light is shining, I know You live. Those in Isaiah’s time had the hope of You yet to come. I have the joy of knowing You are here, with me right now. I am truly blessed.
I get the feeling that You are asking me to be a light for You in this dark morning. You ask me to love those I meet today and to take care of their needs as well as I can. You are asking me to help others see Your light, so they can know the joy I have with You.
Seems like a lot to ask of me Jesus. I know I can’t do it by myself. However, I do know that I can do anything You ask, as long as I do it with You, Spirit. So I will ask You now, my Love, to pour Your Spirit into me, that my reflection will be Your presence.
You are my King!
