But when the right time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent Him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that He could adopt us as His very own children.
Good Morning My LORD!
I praise You this morning for Your amazing love and care for my soul. Your faithfulness to wake me with thoughts of You is my most cherished time of the day.
Thank You for the beauty of this morning. I love the winter sun and the light it sheds on my flowers. I am also blessed to have flowers in December! Have I thanked You lately for moving me to this part of Your Kingdom?
Your Word this morning reminds me that my place in Your Kingdom didn’t happen by chance, just as Your Son’s birth wasn’t by chance. Your timing was perfect. Yet, I’m sure that people of the time would have said different. They were persecuted, possibly had no hope for their future, and probably thought that You had forgotten them. They waited and waited for the Savior, it must have seemed liked eternity.
Another blessing this morning, Father, is that I live on this side of the cross. I have hope, Your Son, and I know He lives, right here with me! But, like Your people of long ago, there are times that I seem to wait and wait for Your answer to a prayer or the next step I’m to take.
Thank You, my King, for reminding me again this morning that Your timing will be perfect in my life. At just the right time You will speak into my heart, You will shine on my next step with Your Spirit. Let me rest in that knowledge. Let me rest in Your presence.
I do really love You!
Amen
