But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Good morning Jesus!
Our Lent season started yesterday and You have given me much to think about. I thank and praise You for slowing down my brain to listen and learn from You.
You know the past few years have been challenging for many of us. Even this week we’ve heard of more earthquakes, more violence, more of evil and hatred invading our world. Although this can be depressing, I’m choosing to keep my eyes on You and trust in Your plan for humanity.
Through all the upheaval I hear the pleas of many, when will things go back to normal? We long for normal, whatever that may be. Going back to ‘normal’ may not be what You want for us, maybe we need to be going forward to our new normal.
You created us to be with You. Until we come to know You, we live without purpose and just exist. We will never be ‘normal’ until we are with You, in Your world. That is what we’re longing for, that is what we need.
Even though we are still in this world, You have given us the opportunity of glimpses into Your world through Jesus, and I praise You for giving us our Salvation! We have the option to live with You here and now and know that the best is yet to come!
This season of Lent I want more than anything to seek You, Jesus, with all my heart and soul. I want to live my life for You and take joy that even though the world is all tossed around, I’m in my new normal place with You!
